Dutton Goldfield is run by Steve Dutton (farmer) and Dan Goldfield (winemaker), two friends who started a business together back in 1987 and are based out of Russian River Valley, California. They are often seen as the pioneers of Russian River; Steve’s father Warren Dutton was growing grapes back in the 1960’s when most felt it was too cold to grow grapes in the region. Steve & Dan now work with over 80 distinct vineyards across Russian River showcasing the variety of Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs which Russian River as well as other parts of California have to offer. These are easily some of the most consistent and quality Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs in California.
