BURN COTTAGE
Wines by Alexander, a Quebec wine agency, is proud to present Burn Cottage.
Located in the heart of Central Otago, Burn Cottage is surrounded by the mountains of the Pisa Range. They say that beautiful wines are produced in beautiful places, but the surroundings of Burn Cottage are simply breathtaking. The vineyard was purchased by the passionate Marquis and Dianne Sauvage in 2002, who brought Ted Lemon (Littorai, Sonoma Coast) to New Zealand to introduce biodynamics and block diversity from day one. Anyone who has met Ted will know the importance of biodynamics and the impact it has on the quality of the wine in the glass. Burn Cottage produces some of the most exciting and easily the best Pinot Noir in New Zealand, true to the environment and their terroir. Being selected as one of the Wine Spectator Top 100 wines of 2021 truly put this little New Zealand winery on the world map.
